Warcraft Micro-Patch 2.0.6

There’s a lil patch available in World of Warcraft today, 2.0.6 for those keeping track … also named the Hunter/Mage/Priest QQ More patch. I’m not calling it that because nobody likes to have their ultimate power taken away, but your fellow non-hunter, non-mage, non-priest players are calling it that.

Troll or No

Here’s an unexpected ending to a World of Warcraft forum post: Friends Are Friends – No Matter What. I thought it was going to end with raunchy sex behind an Arizona GameStop on BC Launch night — how wrong I was!

If you’re a skeptic, you might enjoy some of the responses from the other skeptics. If you’re not, I’m sorry to ruin your day with an internet tragedy that doesn’t involve raunchy sex.

On page 7, Reply #60, Torrac of Stormreaver details his research into the OP’s story and concludes Troll. Either way, entertaining.

UPDATE:
The OP deleted his original post after the thread grew to 19 pages (and counting), and, after a few more niggling questions arose about his story. In fact, checking his post history today, he’s deleted quite a few of his forum posts, particularly those related to this story or related to the niggling questions. I’m not saying this is evidence that the story was faked; I’m saying I hope he learned a valuable internet lesson.
