Carnival of Gamers X

Quebec's 2005 Ice Palace Kill Ten Rats is the host of this month’s blog carnival: Carnival of Gamers X – Winter Carnival — fifteen gaming articles by the cool bloggers.

As usual, there’s a wide variety: new participants, veterans, multiplayer guys, singleplayer lonely guys, interviews, reviews, awards, stories, commentary … and it’s all free.

The next carnival will be hosted at Slashdot Games on February 2, 2006. (Bandwidth, wru?)

Carnival of Gamers Number 9. Number 9. Number 9.

Carnival Lights The final Carnival of Gamers for 2005 is now available at The Game Chair.

Twenty entries are reworked into classified help wanteds, but if you’re going to apply for any of these, think of these more like an internship. (read: no pay)

Honestly, some of the interns I’ve worked with should have been paying me, but that’s a separate issue.

The next Carnival, the first of 2006, will be on January 5th at Kill Ten Rats.

Carnival of Gamers

The Carnival of Gamers is working as intended at Aeropause. There’s something about everything over there: MMO farming, console gaming, interviews and a guild scam.

Heh, speaking of guild scams, there’s this guild on my Warcraft server that recently purged its ranks. Cut almost 1/2 of their roster. Reason? The laid-off players were accumulating too much DKP and they might’ve scored some phatty lewt. So, the officers and the officer asslickers booted them out. Au revoir, DKP.

Here’s the punchline: the idiots kicked the guildbank character out of the guild, too. (woops) Au revoir, guild bank.

I believe that’s what you call instant kharma. Dig it.
