Are we still pretending that the SOE stable of online games is flourishing? Sony announced yesterday an impending repackage job of their stable — EQ Evolution (wtf? Oh, that’s EQ + the first 5 expansions), EQII, PlanetSide Aftershock (complete PS collection), The Matrix Online and Star Wars: Galaxies (with the first expansion, Jump to Lightspeed) — all for $39.99 beginning March 14th. I don’t even want to think about how much I paid for my personal collection of SOE onliners way back when. (DAMMIT) The monthlies for those 5 games with the Station Access subscription, $21.99 plus tax. (Press Release)

Vanity, Thy Name is Wiki User Pages

Here’s a rather elaborate Warcraft character bio in Wikipedia’s User Pages for Algormortis, self-described elite priest of the Horde. Which reminds me, I’ve tried a few of the equipment profilers available for Warcraft and they really blow. It’s not like the EQ days when everyone had a Magelo page and we passed out our Magelo ID like it was our cell number. Think that’s my primary beef, there’s too many Warcraft profilers around — we need ONE.

Game or Lame

This is either a spoof or a niche imitation of Hot or Not: Game or Lame. You know the drill, people post their pics and other people vote if they’re Game or Lame. How would I know if they game or if they’re just lame from their photo? Holding a controller does not a gamer make — although if they held it upside down that would definitely be lame. Also, if they had poor personal hygiene, that would be both lame and game, but definitely not hot.
