Grimwell, formerly of Grimwell, now of GamerGod, presents his list of The 10 Most Interesting People in Gaming for 2005, including the Hot Coffee dude, the licker, Chief Nazgul Smedley, everyone’s favorite gaming Grandma (yay!), and Mr. Jenkins. I can see two attention whores on that list that should be scratched off immediately before they consume any more bandwidth.

AQ War Effort Rankings
World of Warcraft is now sponsoring its own Ahn’Qiraj war supplies collection census data: Ahn’Qiraj War Effort Rankings. I will presume this data is accurate but I’m naive like that. So far, the best part of this bloated quest is the fighting between the guilds about who is doing all the work and who is not (*cough*my guild*cough*). Whatever, I’m just gonna sit in my lawn chair and wait for the gates to open. Every once in a while, I’ll ride over to the mailbox to get my gold from quest-crap sales, but that’s the extent of my involvement.
Ye Olde Days
From the Warcraft forums, a discussion about the good ole days in Beta — “Cool Beta features that were Removed”. (title edited for clarity because the public schools have, apparently, completely given up.) The beta crowd reminisces about invisibility, Old Ironforge and death-touching Guardians. Additional beta screenshots found here by an industrious Googler. (As with all Warcraft forum links, the thread will expire and disappear into the Internet Trash Bin. READ IT NOW.)
