I feel badly that I didn’t compile quite enough screenshots on Sunday to satisfy the public’s thirst for insider Warcraft knowledge. I spent today, a rare non-family holiday off from work, snapping screenshots of a typical WoW player’s “day in the life” … so to speak.
In Ironforge, the lag is so bad, we’ve resorted to yelling at people that graze the firepots, thereby lagging our video display by .000005 seconds. MY GOD, that time could have made the difference in the bidding war at the Auction House.
Matrix zen, Jedi mind tricks, Blizzard apologies. Is there really any difference?
I display a rare moment of compassion for my fellow adventurer seeking advice on where to train artisan First Aid.
When you’ve taken on the Herculean task of stalking the Chinese farmers, most of your text log is filled with this. Why in the fuck are they constantly relogging?
Some chick, who identified herself as a guildleader of … whatever guild (name escapes me) … asked to speak to our guildleader. (heh) So we kinda sorta volunteered the one bud as our “leader.”
Then asked him what she said. She was looking for a contact in case RAMPANT PVP (ever) broke out on our server. Like, if all 14 Horde members attacked Goldshire or something!
(Taken out of context, anything can be bannable.) One of our hunters has been running around with this tiger pet for over 10 levels — damn pet still doesn’t have a name. He’s waiting to think of something incredibly clever, but at this point, it’s just damn annoying.
I know what you’re thinking. It seems glamorous, this life of a level 50-something Warcraft character. The fame! The wealth! The constant banter among close comrades! The adoring stalkers!
It’s all hype. Except the stalker part. The beggars have arrived in Warcraft and they know how to use the /who and the friends list. I imagine that the EQ Plane of Knowledge is missing quite a few idiots right now.
Yeah, I’ve already been hit up twice from beggars… sheesh.
Oh well, I know the /ignore command…
