If you’re an old school catasser, you remember Brad McQuaid. One of the original EverQuest dudes from the former nexus of evil, Verant Interactive? The Vision(tm)? Any nasty flashbacks now?

Anyhow, few years back McQuaid and some-guy-I-don’t-know left the current nexus of evil, SOE, to form their own game company, Sigil Entertainment. Fast forward to March 2004, they announced their first project, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. Here’s a March 2004 interview all about Vanguard, and his new Vision ((tm)-pending, I assume).

Sigil just hosted a summit of some sort for the Vanguard community, which seems odd to me, since the only community they really have yet is their employees. I think they borrowed other online games’ communities. Which is nice.

You can read about their borrowed-community summit on their website; I just skimmed the writeups to see how many times a Vision was mentioned. (at last count, 7) I’m more into mockery rather than offering useful suggestions.
