Polite Alchemy

There’s no right answer to this World of Warcraft dilemma I suppose, reasonable people could disagree » Etiquette thread: Alchemy specs and trade. Original poster, Minkyminky, level 67 Warlock of Feathermoon wrote:

Correct me if I’m wrong of course, but Alchemy specs allow you to sometimes make 2 potions/transmutes from the mats of one.

Therefore, what should be the proper etiquette if you give an alchemist the materials for, say, one Primal Might transmute and it turns into 2 Primal Mights? Flat rate for one transmute, pay more since you got more, give the extra Primal to the alchemist as the tip?

I’m inclined to expect the alchemist to hand over the extra crafted item and tipping him/her handsomely in return, but I wouldn’t wig out if the greedy bastard kept the extra either.

Probably best to keep this stuff in-guild anyways: if your greedy bastard guildmate keeps the extras, maybe he won’t be borrowing gold all the damn time.
