So on the weekend, I’m in a World of Warcraft guild group leveling up alts to cover some holes in our raiding roster. One of our sloppier raiders logged on and told the guild he was having a GREAT day!
Thought me: please don’t ask .. please don’t ask .. please don’t ask. But of course someone did.
Although I detected the strong odor of bullshit (as you do), I congratulated him on the best guildchat story I’d heard in more than a year. No small feat that.

I tend to amuse myself by wondering which Sylvester Stallone flick the people who come up with these bullshit stories have watched most recently.

Must be a proud moment for the guy, so much so he has to share it with complete strangers. Maybe this means anyone who knows him would probably shoot him if they could.
Looks like he should have gone to the library. His mastery of the English language is lacking.
Course, judging by the story, his mastery of not doing stupid shit is lacking as well.

I love that it was said as casually as “I spilled milk on the counter, so I wiped it up with a sponge”.
Like it was the only logical response.
And what I’d really like to know (or actually, maybe I don’t…) is how a shooting is considered a “hate crime”. I would call it attempted murder, personally. And why wasn’t the other gentleman charged with assault? Wow…. so many boggling details, that I’m sure I’m much happier not knowing.

PS : I really enjoy your BLOG and the little adventures you share with us but for the love of everything that is holy, please never never never transfer or re-roll on my server. I would be too affraid that some (or even just one for that matter) of your guildies or ex-guildies would follow you.
