There was a press release on the Logitech website about the changes being made to the G15. They have removed most of the macro buttons in the future model.

They broke it if you ask me. I love my current model G15 and will be purchasing at least 1 backup before they are gone forever.

Is incorrect. The G15 has 18 on-the-fly programmable keys with 3 separate modes, Offering 54 different macro options.
