The New York Times reported that Blizzard Entertainment is expected to announce today plans for a big-budget feature film based on the Warcraft series. Legendary Pictures, a Warner Bros affiliate, will provide the movie magic; their past and present projects include Batman Begins, Superman Returns, and The Phantom Concludes. (Ok, I made up that last one but it seems like the same guy is titling everything out of that studio.) Presumably frame rate will not be an issue with a Warcraft movie.

But what I want to know is will there be n00bs running around the “band of heros” shouting, “D00d will yuo sing my guild chater?!? I just ned one more naem”.
Maybe it will be rated R and 80% of the people who show up for it will be stuck outside trying to get ‘authenticated’..?..?.. Anyone?

Jesus, whatever the name of the central characters will be, there’ll be a million new alts with variations hours after the films launch.
Oh well, suppose it could be a frefreshing change from the thousands of leegoolas’s running around.
