Those Meddling Kids!

Just a typical Warcraft convo in the public channel, from the not-so-noob Westfall zone:

Adults Don’t Play WoW or Wish They Didn’t Sometimes

Adults Don’t Play WoW or Wish They Didn’t Sometimes

Adults Don’t Play WoW or Wish They Didn’t Sometimes

(There’s more!)

Adults Don’t Play WoW or Wish They Didn’t Sometimes

Did he think she was kidding about being a grandmother? I assumed she was telling the truth. Why wouldn’t a grandma play Warcraft if she wanted?

If I was a grandparent, I’d level up a 60 rogue, deck it out in PvP gear, then I’d run around killing my grandkids’ punkass characters and say, “HA! That’s what I think of fuzzy slippers for Christmas!” And, “Your mom’s jello mold SUCKS!”

Finally, I’d drive over to the grandkids’ house and kick their asses for spamming general chat with lol-this and lol-that.

    Great moments in Warcraft history:

    11/23/2004 - /leave General

Haha. Ya, I leave general off too most of the time.

I’ve noticed the chatters have started to creep into the trade channel now. Probably caught on that no one was left in general anymore to hear every last detail about “how their day went”.

Why is it the priests are always the oldest ones in the guild? (60 Troll priest, feathermoon, here, and at 30+ - won’t tell you how much +, but I’m the oldest in my guild). Ditto from my EQ days - and I was the oldest then, too. Sad, I know.

But just to add to the entertainment value - my father in law plays too, and he HAS made the kind of comments you’re talking about. Nothing, nothing on earth beats watching an argument between your kid and your father-in-law go from group, to guild, to general and then to yell. Awesome.
