Star Trek Online - Perpetual Entertainment — website launched. There are only a few groups creepier than gamers: the ComicCon crowd, Star Wars families and the whole Star Trek lifestyle. Now that I think about it, the Harry Potter freaks are pretty damn creepy too.

    You know, I don’t like Star Trek and know very little about it outside of things I can make fun of…but years ago I had a conversation with a friend about how the Star Trek universe was begging for an MMO.

    I can’t think of anything more depressing than supposedly “boldly going where noone has gone before”, “exploring brave new worlds and new civilizations” only to bump into the edge of the map and find out that you were the 86,000 customer to visit that particular location. This one is going to fail to live up to its namesake before its even out of the design document.

    this one is going to be extremely hard to pull off. the trekkies are devoted fans and arent going to fall for alot of bs.
