As many of you know, I’ve received myriad requests to evolve AFK Gamer into a new and improved commentary site. There’s a void in the blogosphere, and I intend to fill that void as of today: political and news commentary.

Gaming hijinks and /boggle-ry aren’t enough for the typical, net-savvy AFK Gamer reader. It’s news and political analysis that you crave! Some pictures of kittens and puppies would be welcome, also.

Frank Perdue of Perdue Chicken is recently dead and is expected to remain so.

Other people that none of us know died today.

In better news, people that none of us will ever know were born today.

Here’s a picture of my dog, very much alive as of this writing, although if I arrive home to discover that my furniture has been chewed into bits, I can’t guarantee her continued survival.
